Our Approach
The goal of Matrix Dental’s
staff is to streamline your practice while also making the necessary
technology as transparent as possible. One of our core philosophies is to
treat our clients the way we would want to be treated if we were in their
shoes. We do not sell you more than you need -- and our use of
industry-standard equipment means that you won’t have to call us for
hard-to-find parts or repairs that could easily have been avoided. Matrix
Dental is a technology enabler -- we don’t want you to become
dependent on us for service. We value honesty and integrity, and we strive
to give you the best possible service at a very reasonable price.
Our Expertise
Unlike many computer
wizards, Thom Lancaster, Matrix Dental’s president, not only has extensive hands-on
experience with hardware and software -- he also has formal training in the
information technology field. Thom is a Microsoft-certified systems
engineer and systems administrator -- and he also holds certificates in
networking and hardware installation/repair from CompTIA, an international
vendor-neutral association of IT professionals.
And Thom is much more than a
technology pro. He also has an extensive background in the dental industry,
having worked as a dental technician since 1974. In 1982, Thom opened
Matrix Dental Ceramics, which has become well-known in the Columbus area for
crafting crowns and bridges of superior quality. Thom established Matrix
Dental Computing in 2001 after years of working with computers and also observing many dental practices in need of computer
services. Matrix Dental serves dentists in central Ohio and the surrounding
areas.
